Ingrid Glad, co-director at Integreat, is being awarded the Sverdrup Prize as "an outstanding representative of the field of statistics."

Integreat's international Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) is set to visit Oslo for two days, aiming to provide guidance for Integreat's future direction. The schedule includes various events, some of which are open to the public, while others are focused on specific projects.

Integreat will recruit thirteen fulltime PhD students and two postdocs at the University of Oslo and UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.  There are fifteen cross-disciplinary projects across Machine Learning, Statistics, Logic, Language Technology and Ethics that are waiting for interested applicants.

On November 21-23 the Integreat team and partners convened for the first-ever kick-off meeting at the historic Tøyen Hovedgård in Oslo. The Research Council of Norway (RCN) has appointed Arnoldo Frigessi, Director of Integreat, to the advisory expert group in the start-up phase of the new national artificial intelligence (AI) initiative.

On October 18, 2023, Integreat hosted a housewarming party on the 8th floor of the Niels Henrik Abels building at the University of Oslo, bringing together all those who contributed to creating their new home.

On the evening of October 19th dScience hosted yet another highly successful Data Science Day.
